a thursday

“841. SMILING REALLY IS CONTAGIOUS, BUT SO IS HERPES; WHEN SMILING LEADS TO SOMETHING MORE JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND. “

Today has been a good day so far; I’ve avoided doing anything at work at all, I got a compliment on my hair, and I had some chocolate milk for breakfast. Recipe for success in my humble opinion.

I can’t believe it’s only and already Thursday, all at once. This weekend brings a little comic relief at a family breakfast on Saturday, and then a Blue Jay’s game on Sunday, finished with a screening of Harry Potter 2. Yes, 2. And for those of you that are curious, that means it’s on VHS. Cannot wait.

Cheers to good hair days, good mornings, and good friends.

so much to do, so little time. big goals, big dreams - both require a big bank account. hoping for the best.

you’re still mine.

sometimes time doesn’t heal,
no not at all.

just stand still, while we fall
in or out of love
again i doubt
im gunna win you back
when youve got eyes like that
that wont let me in
always looking out.

a lot of people
spend their time just floating
we were victims
together but lonely…

you’ve got hungry eyes
they just cant look forward
cant give them enough
but we just cant start over

october blues

its the perfect fall weather - clear, crisp, sunny and just cool enough to enjoy a hot chocolate, curled up on the couch. i’m missing home and seeing the leaves change colour on the escarpment, looking across the lake and just feeling at peace. looking for tranquility in the mix of midterms, funerals, endless work days and more confusion than you’ve ever known is a difficult task - but i like to think i’m going at it head on. pub after work tonight will be the perfect end to an unperfect day.
